We're finally home, and it feels really good. We found a pile of mail that a good friend of ours collected up for us because we were supposed to have been home yesterday. We also found a book that Andrea Wong, a knitting instructor from Stitches West, sent me as a trade for one of my extras. Yippie! Knitty happiness.
Now we are busy plugging electronics back in, turning up the heat, letting things get recharged, going thru our mail, and all the usual things one does when one gets home from a long trip. Of course in my case that includes a welcoming home allergy attack. Ie kanth breth noww.
Dexter the dog has claimed the couch next to me and looks set for a power nap. I may join him soon. :-)
We also found a voice message from the airlines letting us know they'd found our luggage and will deliver them tomorrow morning. So Jim won't be volunteering at the library because he needs to be at the house. Sorry co-workers, we will get back on schedule soon.
We'd planned to give the relatives their gifts before driving home but the missing luggage issue :messed that up. Maybe by Friday I will be able to bring my co-workers the little souviners we picked up.
