Itinerary - route and changes

We're at the airport  so here's our trip plan.

We will fly from Portland to Seattle, then Seattle to Reykjavik.  After staying in Reykjavik (see map), we will be taking a local flight from Reykjavik to Ísafjörður, West Fjords (map).  Then reverse it all to come home. :-)

There is one more change to the program I posted earlier- that is the flight back to Reykjavík will be on Monday April 9th (instead of the day before as initially planned). And we fly home from Iceland in the afternoon.  Barring volcanoes or blizzards...

The place we are staying at in Ísafjörður has been changed from what the brochure says.  We will be staying in a country hotel located a short bus ride from Ísafjörður in wonderful Dýrafjörður.  The place is called Hotel Núpur.

The music festival runs on Friday and Saturday nights. They include: Sykur, Retro Stefsson, Jón Jónsson, Guðríð Hansdóttir (from Faroe Islands), and the legendary 80's girl power band Dúkkulísurnar (the paper dolls).  I think it's mostly rock so Jim may never speak to me again.  :-0  We may not stay long...
