Leaving for the West Fjords

We leave this morning for our next town.  The Kex has been a real expeirence for me since I've not been in a hostel before.

Yesterday we took a bus ride thru the country side on a 'woolen circle' which was a mix of yarn stores and natural wonders.  Unfortunetly it drizzeled the whole day so we don't have great photos.  Was fun though.  I bought too much yarn, then we found out the weight limit for our flight today is more restrictive then coming here was.  So we've had to repack everything and leave my big suitcase in Ragga's office.  I would have packed for the trip differently if I'd known.  Oh well.

I will post pictures from yesterday after we get back since hey are on my 'real' camera.

  1. Sounds like you are having a great time...though I remember the jet lag well from our trips to that part of the world. Its nice to have flights and bus rides that let you catch a wink now and then. Love the view from the hostel...looks a lot like Finland and Norway. I wonder where the horned viking hats came from...hmmm. Dexter is being a good guest, although we think he misses you guys a lot. Lately he has been going into his crate a lot and staying there after being out for walks and nature. Its been cold and rainy here and I still have not been able to mow the grass...poor thing looks like a jungle cat...:) We are enjoying you blog...enjoy the rest of your trip...:)
